Brisworthy, Devon

Another couple of old pictures from a Dartmoor visit in 1991. Brisworthy stone circle stands on Ringmoor Down in the upper Plym valley, near to the village of Shaugh Prior.

Twenty four stones in this circle, with the diameter just short of 25m. Most of the stones were reerected in 1909. The view in the second picture is towards Legis Tor.
