Fernworthy, Devon

From Scorhill, it was a short drive to Fernworthy reservoir and then a hike through Forestry Commission land to the delightful Fernworthy stone circle, which is situated in a clearing in the forest. The diameter is just short of 20m, with twenty-seven stones in the circle. The tallest stone is about 120cm.
