Drombeg, Co Cork

This was the first stone circle I visited after moving to Ireland in 1993. The smallest stone is just over 1m and the largest is 2m, whilst the alignment is towards midwinter sunrise. Drombeg is possibly one of the most visited stone circles in Co Cork, and one I've returned to several times with visiting friends and family.

Head for Glandore from Rosscarberry, Drombeg is easy to find as it's well signposted.
