Dunbeacon, Co Cork

From Coolcoulaghta it was a short walk uphill across a field to Dunbeacon stone circle.



There are eleven stones in the circle, six of which are still standing. They range in height from 1.6m to 1.9m. The circle's diameter is 8m. There is also a fallen stone in the centre.

Looking northeast, with Sprat Hill in the distance near to Cullomane, where I would find myself later in the day.
